Here is a quick question(S).  Cheesy

Do you have to condition you servos for cold weather flying?

If you have your airplane stored in a warm basement, then you place it out in a subzero airfield, will the servo freeze up?

I am determined to fly this weekend even if its -15c outside.... !

no but starting a motor is more difficult and you WILL have to open your low end mixture screw a little. A shot of WD40 down the carb acts like starter fuild. Also be aware that your battery life will be alot less so don't push it.

The silicone in WD40 will  coat the glow plug coil and shorten its life a tad, if that is any concern......
Some sort of transmitter cover is a good idea..Gloves or mittens, I've found to be too awkward....

Get a small handwarmer one that you light solid fuel in and seal it keeps the rx battery warm and the servos too. Also heat the cylinder head up under the exhaust pipe of the car and it starts right away, be carfull to not get water down the carb I put a plug in the carb and remove it to start.

I once took my trainer out of my warm car, set it on the fluffy snow, started it and wondered why it wouldn't taxi. The warm skiis had melted the fluffy snow and then froze to the bottoms of the skiis!!!  Cheesy
